Which officer was charged with murder and which with aiding and abetting? Derek Chauvin wasn't compressing his diaphragm, he was using an approved neck restraint, one which doesn't cut off air or bloodflow.
I said many pages ago that the preliminary autopsy results make a better case against the officer on his chest than the one on his neck, but the mob only cares about what's on video.

I didn't catch that post, but I wholeheartedly agree.

Which is why the system has the flexibility to add drop and modify charges

The police don’t have proper training. It’s sad. Before my deployment I went on 2 TDYs in CQC(close quarters combat), and they bash the whole shoot-no shoot scenarios at you. It’s a reality check when you walk around a corner in a stressful environment and there is a “fake terrorist” target on the wall and you shoot him, just to get told later that it was a 12 year old boy with a phone in his hand. Of course after a while of practice you get comfortable and handle the situations a lot better. The police force to my knowledge doesn’t get that type of training, it shows. If they do, they clearly need more practice at it

Yes they do. The police absolutely do this type of training.

They do modified real life scenarios, of actual real cases that have occurred with actors and sim rounds. They have simulated shoot don't shoot video programs. Put you through obstacle courses to get your adrenaline pumping and then have you participate in scenario training. Have you drive cars pull over actors, do scenario warrants with active shooters.

Obviously differs state to state.

I can't comment on police brutality, but actual police killings of unharmed individuals is incredibly low. And unarmed doesn't mean not dangerous or not justified.

The prosecutor is going to botch it and there's going to be riots protesting round #2. Late October right before the election.

"Tuesday night after peaceful protest"

I have my doubts there if they're using rubber bullets.

Yes I have. I watched a full stream of police arrive and leave from a scene that they arrived at solely to render aid to an individual stabbed by another protestor, only to get bricks and glass bottles thrown at them. Lol.

I'm not saying there's been zero cases of misuse of force, there definitely have been. But the idea that this hasn't been absolute chaos with terrible rioters is a definite lie as well.

I watched the police precinct get set on fire, only to have a journalist say "This has been a very peaceful protest, it seems to have some chaos but it's contained chaos". Meanwhile, behind him the police station is on fire. There's a picture of it here somewhere. I was watching that Live. Ridiculious.

We're judging a situation only on two pictures and two sentences in relation to the incident.
