It's been an utter failure for Republicans... no wonder they didn't want the private testimony to be released. Strzok isn't taking any shit from them. Louie Gohmert bringing up Strzok's wife was really the nail in the coffin for this shameful display.

i can't wait for the talking heads on Fox News to speak matter-of-factly about the difference between personal council and occupational council in meetings before the house that you may or may not be subpoenaed to be there for. the audible laughing at him telling Strzok he can't speak with FBI council is almost as funny as them settling on this string of clearly hyperbolic texts as their smoking gun. he was essentially told that he was going to be held in contempt for exercising his 5th amendment right, i'm not sure if Goodlatte was just flustered due to Strzok's outward confidence or what, but he showed all the legal acumen of a dish rag in that exchange, let alone basic committee procedures. some of the most transparent partisan fishing for soundbytes i've ever seen, at least since HRC was up there.

No, hyping the one page tax return would not be an example of great content. I know it's tough for a Trump cultist to realize this, but it's possible for a media person to cover interesting topics a lot of the time, while at the same time occasionally overhyping certain things.
