I disagree. Western government is entirely yes-men, it's just that they're yes-men to different factions of capital and different factions of the social base to different degrees. So they constantly get pulled in different directions and it makes even very short term plans basically impossible unless there is broad agreement across multiple sectors.

And the only places you find that broad agreement are on things that are bad for regular people - selling weapons and starting wars, privatizing public services, lowering the tax burden of large corporations and elites, etc.

Yeah fake things like:

Russia shelling their own troops in the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant that they had full control over
Russia shelling and killing Ukrainian POWs in a prison that they had full control over
Russia blowing up nordstream, killing their goose with the golden eggs while they had full control over the gas flow.

Meanwhile according to MSM Ukraine is killing hordes of dumbass Russians a day, Russia only hits schools hospitals and civilians, Putin has died of cancer at least 3 times and Russia has no more tanks missiles and even no more AKs only old rusty ones.

Journalists are not even allowed on the front line, sometimes an exception is made and a MSM journalist is taken on a guided tour by spotlessly clean Ukrainian soldiers that only show destroyed Russian equipment and nice clean Ukrainian trenches and dugouts.

Regime survival is paramount. Regime collapses if they lose the war. Ergo, mobilization must go ahead. Better to try and fail than die.

A main gas pipeline exploded in St. Petersburg. It supplied gas to Severnyi Potik 1, as well as to Gazprom stations.


It got "depressurized" according to Russians, maybe if you didn't depressurize all your money on mansions this wouldn't happen, I wonder...
