You are right that, according to the definitions of "cultured" and "uncultured", the Middle-East was not (and is not) uncultured. On the other hand, you know perfectly well that this is the Internet, where people often make their points via hyperbole and mockery.
If that's something you are sensitive to, I don't think you'll fare well in any politically themes Internet forum.
If this is just a matter of you arguing semantics, then I think you should join a linguistics forum instead.
i misstated the Kurds as Christians, not even sure how that got in my head. said Fender was correct and that the Kurds are not Christian. then spent time writing about a 4 page essay on exactly what i meant by uncultured, and was of course being hyperbolic.
5 pages later Fender has the point i already said he was right on and taking my hyperbole super seriously. while saying i lack nuance. but you'll notice that despite having just these 2 non-points all his posts are still paragraphs long. he's just a card sultan type attention seeker with a butthurt tendency to semantics when it pleases him.
