Honest question for ya:

Don't you think it's a tad bit weird that "the powers that be" chose Easter to make trans day of visibility? They could of picked any other day and there wouldn't be as much pushback and less people would have a problem with it.

I ask this question because I have a long standing (schizo) theory that certain groups are using the lgtbq community as pawns to incite division in America. This latest move kinda reinforces my belief and I do feel kinda bad because now even more people hate trans people because they feel like it's an attack on Christianity/religion. The timing is very curious imo.

Eh, personally, I don't much care about these kinds of so-called visibility days; however, I can imagine how it might land with people who aren't pro-trans and are religious/observe Easter. I also don't find it terribly weird though, given that Easter falls on a different day every year (I think).

I think your theory is less a schizo theory and more a realistic theory, given that the so-called 'culture war' is a great way to divide a populace and get them to direct animosity towards 'the other' and ignore the broader class struggle.
