1. There is a huge difference, in terms of escalation, between using tactical nukes on a third country, and using strategic nukes against NATO cities.
2. Your logic implies that the use of nukes as an offensive weapon is an "I-win-card" for any nuclear power fighting against a non-nuclear country. That's obviously a precedent the rest of the world cannot accept.

Ukraine did not "target" a Polish village, this was a stray missile, an accident. For the record: even if it had been a stray Russian missile like most people thought initially, that wouldn't be grounds for calling for WW3.

You might have a point on energy, but what exactly has the West done to justify Russia blocking Ukrainian grain exports which are needed to feed poor countries in Africa and the Middle East?

First, the discussion is generally involving a single weapon being used. Using large numbers of them can certainly decimate opposition, but at what cost? The land you want to steal is not uninhabitable.

No one "fights a nuclear weapon." What a fucking moronic take. The fighting would be done in the blast zone. And it's equally deadly for Ukraine and Russia alike to enter the area.
