Pure fantasy. Trump's former campaign manager is in jail, and his former National Security Adviser and personal attorney are cooperating (or about to be) with the Special Counsel.

Unless Trump and Mueller are playing 103D Backgammon and have us all fooled, you can keep dreaming.

Well I wouldn't call it a dream. After all this time I doubt Trump can be touched.
It would answer a lot of questions though.

But yeah, you're all probably right. Why would anyone disbelieve the info they are being force fed, by politicians that never lie. :D

So the judge who made headlines some weeks ago by questioning the scope of the Mueller probe ultimately decided that prosecuting Manafort for his crimes does fall within the scope of the Special Counsel's investigation.

Took me about five seconds of research to find it's pretty clearly within his scope. The order specifically states his scope expands to anything found during the course of the investigation.

So he's going to go from a "highly respected judge” who is “very special.” to "Fake news, democrat activist judge" or some shit.

Lol, yeah. I don't think anyone outside of the Trump cult thought he would dismiss the case.

Based on Rosenstein's order and the historical scope of previous Special Counsels, I'd agree that prosecuting Manafort for crimes is within their power.

However, I'd argue that the scope of Special Counsels' power is too broad. There is so much potential for abuse and partisanship, much like we saw with the Kenneth Starr Special Counsel in the 90s.

I also have a fundamental problem with Special Counsels from a separation of powers aspect. The executive branch can basically appoint its own judicial body to investigate almost anything they want with very little oversight.

So my issue with them is two-fold. I think Special Counsel investigations are highly susceptible to partisan abuse and also need some sort of check and balance by either the Judicial or Legislative branch.

Leftists don't know how to use logic & reason, unfortunately.
It's more fun to just let them think that Manafort colluded with the Russians lol.
