It's amazing that you hold low morale Russian conscripts in such high regard, but the Ukrainian ones fighting for their homeland are the ones who'll run.

Why would the entire frontline collapse? Ukraine's troops would just retreat some 50-100km to form a pocket around the irradiation zone. And since Russia couldn't move through this zone without irradiating its own troops, they wouldn't gain much of anything from it.

No soldiers in any army in the world stay in the frontline if nuked were used, and if said country didn't have nukes the country itself would surrender. If it did have nukes, it would use them also -> nuclear armageddon.

So... shouldn't this logic of yours also apply to Russian soldiers? Russia only stands to gain ground from the use of tactical nukes if Ukraine's soldiers run away AND their own soldiers happily charge forward.
Once Russia's leadership has crossed this line, their rank and file soldiers would have to assume that they themselves can end up getting caught by tactical nukes if they ever run into Ukrainian resistance again.

How hard do you have to study to come up with such retarded takes? I DOUBT Ukraine surrenders after a tac-nuke.

If Russia nuked middle-large cities in central and eastern Ukraine it would absolutely collapse the front eventually. The front is fed and supported by logistical hubs, which are the cities. Without cities behind them food, fuel, ammo, etc arteries feeding the war would be damaged. Moving 50-100km back wouldn't change much. You either starve running out of bullets 50km closer to the front or 50km back of the original front.
