Yemen is not a first world industrialized country. Of course you can argue that Russia is not a first world country.
But compare to Yemen, Russia's future is still considerably bright even with the war.

Why would you think of Yemen *curious .

The comment was "future of Europe does not look bright"
Which in my opinion is relative. Its still arguably one of the best if not the best continents to live in.

Yemen was just an example. Take any country or region in comparison with europe and you could argue the future is more bright in Europe.

There are of course economic pressures. However those predicting europe will freeze to death and Putin will somehow emerge victorious from Ukraine because of it. Are way out of touch with reality.

Europe will freeze, but wouldn't freeze to death. The point of using the word " freeze " is akin to throwing barbs at one another who have different opinions, similar to those who believes that Russia will be completely destroyed or their economy will be sanctioned back to the medieval age.

And most of us on this thread knew Russia will find it particularly difficult to have a complete victory given the obstacle she face in this proxy war.

Its precisely the point people miss. Russis not supplying Europe energy. Hurts both economies.
During winter Russia has leverage, although right now even that is weakened.

In spring they will have not have the same leverage.

Europe might have less access to energy, Russis had less income.
There isn't one without the other.

it is even more evident now, this winter seems to be a lot warmer than usual.
In HK we should be around 16 to 17 degrees Celsius by now. But we are recording around 23 to 24 degrees.
So this might be a pretty warm winter.

From reddit (unverified)
Russian rocket might have striked Przewodów village in Poland, near Hrubieszowe. According to local news two people have died in a blast and there is a big crater. Weird debris were found. Polish government have convined an emergency metting over "security reasons".

Well, since there are russians rockets striking NATO territory, NATO should imo declare no-fly zone at least in western Ukraine.
Otherwise such "accidental missiles" might repeat and in bigger numbers.
