Reports emerging that Ukraine has made substantial progress at the Kinburn Spit




Some Russian sources stated it's already completely under Ukrainian control and there is no point in attempting to hold it, if true this marks liberation of entire Mykolaiv region from Russian forces.

UN voted on resolution to make Russia pay reparations to Ukraine. Of course nobody can force Russia to pay but this gives the legal framework necessary to start sending Ukraine confiscated Russian money.

Russia can easily afford to be top 10 nation in the world by quality of life and wealth, but as things stand all that money ends up in hands of an oligarchs/criminal clans/politicians etc, corruption always breeds incompetence, stolen money that should of benefited the general public is usually spent on things like luxury cars, 5 story high yachts by the beneficiaries, and of course their kids need $50,000 headphones and other useless shit like $3,500 Italian pens just cause.

I don't see how in a close future Russia would become an advanced country. 20% of russians dont have toilets/plumbing at "home"?
That, the population ageing, and all those who fled. Oh and war reparation cost.
