There won't be any pre emptive strikes. Really reminds me of history. Gen. Patton at the end of WW2 wanted to attack Russia. He pointed out we were going to fight them eventually, might as well do it while we had all our military in place and while they were at their weakest. He was removed for that.

For years during the Cold War it was pointed out that he may have been right. But when the Soviet Union eventually split in the 80's it proved him wrong.

That's what i see here. War is not inevitable, I think this is already been proved wrong. But hey, I could be mistaken. I hope not

I'm pointing out a year ago there's a claim that war is going to break out "at any minute", and It just wasn't so. Now here we are today and the OP claims, "I didn't say it was inevitable "

Overall, U.S. is very welcome here. Before Trump and Moon adminstrations, the U.S. military control was supported. Now the Moon administration is much more cautious and wants to regain control of ROK military should something happen. The people here are slightly more anxious under Trump. But overall seem to trust that he won't spark a war.

Younger generations speak about Kim Jong-eun, Trump and even Hitler in the same breath. They're jokes here. No one is freaking out. That's western fearmongering.
