He didn't "get his son a job" for a Russian company. Was he brought on due to his family name? Almost certainly. It's very common for companies to bring on big names to lend credibility. Burisma, a Ukrainian company, certainly needed that credibility. However, that alone doesn't mean that the VP got him on the board. Now, is it chicken shit that a man with hardly any qualifications got paid that much money? Yup. I don't think that's disputed. But are we to believe that Trump is some crusader for anti-corruption/anti-nepotism when he has his own children in the White House? Are we to believe that he wants to fight corruption in Ukraine when he didn't even want an investigation, he just wanted an announcement of one? Trump ain't fooling me on this one.

Is Biden publicly bragging about how he pressured the Ukrainians and got the prosecutor fired who was threatening his son's company... is that also "just business as usual, nothing to see here"?

This doesnt excuse Trump's behavior, but if his behavior is such a severe scandal that impeachment is considered over it, then Biden's actions on Ukraine necessarily should be a big scandal as well. The fact that they arent proves the double standard on the Democratic side and parts of the media.

Considered by who? Not very convincing. There's been plenty of notable people saying this is bad enough to be impeached over. Personally I agree with them, if its this blatant it needs to be made an example of. Trump doesn't give two shits about corruption.

The Democrats and pretty much all the left-leaning media? They all think that Trump pressuring Ukraine for personal gain is a big fucking deal and that he should be impeached over it. If this kind of behavior is a big fucking deal when Trump does it, then similar behavior by Biden (which he was publicly bragging about) should also be a huge deal - but neither the Dems nor the mainstream media treat it like one.

I could let it be if Biden was retired from politics, no point in dissecting the past. But he is literally the front-runner for being the Democratic candidate in the upcoming presidential election.

How about we just do both if Biden is substantiated? Because one wrong doesn't justify another wrong? Ya know, like adults? Evaluate situations on merit instead of "but he did it too! BUT WHAT ABOUT HILLARY!!!11!!11!1"

Impeached over what again? I don't know what exactly the Democrats are pushing for at this point...help me see it?

I could be wrong, but their case was that Trump had some sort of "deal". Is this correct? Have the Dems even used that word since?
And then....

Quid Pro quo?
Bribery?
Extortion?
Obstruction of justice?

Or is it this new one, "Obstruction of Congress" Wtf is that?

My point here wasnt about whether or not Trump (and Biden, if substantiated) should get the ax over this, my point was that their actions in Ukraine were very similar in nature, but treated very differently be the Dems and left-leaning media, and that this proves their massive double standard.

Note how I explicitly and deliberately wrote "... this doesnt excuse Trump's behavior but [..] proves the Dems' double standard".

Yeah, just saying "this doesn't excuse his actions" doesn't make your posts nothing but whataboutism
