USA wanted to shift TSMC operation to the states and Japan in case of an invasion from China. So they are making TSMC build their chip factories in USA and Japan. But they needed the Taiwanese Engineers to be there with them. So they are moving them in troves to start a new life in the States.
I am not sure if I explained this clearly.

Time is on chinas side, I think they would be making a mistake if they invaded now. Reasons for why US would import taiwanese engineers, is pretty speculative

There has been plans for TSMC factories in the USA for several years. They're already built one in Arizona for example.
Now they're planning a second one, likely the reason Hamsterbaby listed.

For anyone outside the know, these are billions of dollars to create. This is high stakes investment, failure is not an option.
The USA will even change standards to facilitate these chip factories.

The working hours is very militant from what i heard. I think the one in Phoenix is up isn't it ?

TSMC is spending alot building those factories in USA and I meant alooooooooooot..

Germany recently blocked China from buying the german chip producer Elmos

China is thirsty for chip production.

They won't now. But they might in Xi's fourth Term.
I think USA speculation of 2030 is not far off, either that or 2032 or 2033.
