What I'm saying is, in the minutes where the cops were pinning Floyd to the ground and killing him, none of that mattered, because they wouldn't have known about those details at that time. If they did, and still continued what they were doing, then there's a level of premeditation to their actions that cannot be ignored. I choose to actually give them the benefit of the doubt, in that regard.

Agree, to me the 2 minutes after floyd became unconscious are where it became murder, before that he was just a malicious cop trying to look tough.. after a man passed out under his knee and he sat on him for another full 2 minutes he became a murderer.

no one found guilty on those specific charges would get life imprisonment, “white cop” or not. max sentence was like 40 years.
