Black lives don't matter. Nobody cares about dead black people.
Right in the middle of the riots a black woman in her 30s was murdered. Ochea Antjuanette Brown was found deceased in a smashed up car at 17th and Bryant with her head turned into a bloody pulp and signs of sexual trauma.
When her body was found, she just got added to the running tally of the riots as a footnote. No reporters followed up, no details on the police investigation, no identification, no anything.
She was just some random anonymous dead black woman, nobody cared.
Now today we get news that her murderer has been arrested. 29 year old black male Jordan Latrell Jefferson, on charges of second degree murder.
He had been riding with her, got into an argument, punched her repeatedly, and when she got out of the vehicle and tried to walk away down a sidewalk he ran her down with the car, dragged her several blocks and got out and kept hitting her.
The vehicle and evidence was recovered and traced, an eyewitness Jordan tried to threaten into silence gave a statement, the relationship of the two was known, and then Jordan confessed to the murder.
Unlike the George Floyd case, we have abundant proof beyond a reasonable doubt a black person was murderer.
And how much does anyone care? There's not a single news outlet even reporting on the arrest, and the only reports of her murder were footnotes in lists. The only way to find out is to search the hennepin county police databases and jail roster
