I think the origin of the story ruined it. Nobody wanted to promote a story about material on a hard drive they didn't have access to, which somehow ended up in Rudy Giuliani's hands, from a suspect source. I mean c'mon, the WSJ turned it down.

Rudy was in Ukraine fishing for dirt on Biden for months, ended up involved with impeachment, and then was associated with a guy labeled a Russian intelligence asset by the US treasury. Let's not pretend this was something different from what it was.
