Tough shit then. Since Putins "Special Military Operation" more countries have applied to join NATO. More will in the future. More build-up on Russia's borders. More NATO full stop.
Better intelligence of Russian tactics/abilities. Depletion of Russian military hardware. Breakdown of supply chains. More sanctions. Global ostracization.

All the while, the US/UK military industrial complex are raking in sales from arms deals with Ukraine. Putin played himself, on every imaginable level.

If anyone still believes this invasion was purely about Russias security interest, then they are out of their fucking minds in denial.

There is depletion going on in both sides, and also a massive increase of production. More sanctions? No, sanctions have crippled Europe.


They aren't making as much money as you think, a lot of it is lend-lease, which is questionable when ukraine will be able to pay back. But production is gonna spike either way, only partly because of ukraine.


Security interests, economical interests(east-south ukraine is extremely wealthy in industry/untapped raw material), historical lands, water for crimea etc Russians saw an opportunity where the world order is changing and they dared to question the current world order.
