Niger remains one of the poorest countries in the world today with over 70% of its population living below the international poverty line of $1.90 a day.

e- Niger borders Nigeria to the south.

They're still exploited by France -_-

Niger, a land-locked sub-Saharan nation, has the world’s fourth-largest uranium reserves – around 7% of the global total. While Niger’s uranium lights the Eiffel Tower and one-third of households in France, the people of Niger – the owners of this wealth – have lived in the dark, struggling with chronic hunger and malnutrition for years.

I don't think much changes over next few months either but i think you are wrong on the influence the US/EU have over Ukraine. Ukraine is literally on life support, fully reliant on outside money and armament. They could publicly demand that Russia overthrow it's government for negotiations to happen or posture that they'll keep fighting until they reclaim everything but those are just words, as soon as there's some signaling in the west of less military/money aid they'll come to the table.

The US and EU have influence on Ukriane. I am not denying this. However, it is clear that Ukraine are "all in", and therefore if the EU, or the US, tells them to settle, then Ukraine will basically say "F*** You". it would be a massive betrayal on the part of the West, in the eyes of Ukraine, in my opinion.

Whatever happens, we will know in the next month or so. After the US Midterms and G20.
Let's hope this doesn't become Afghanistan 2.0
When I meant Afghanistan 2.0, I meant the situation after the war against Russia back in the late 70s.

I think the effect might expedite the situation. And most importantly USA can keep up with sending money and weapons without EU help.
And EU are backing off sooner or later.
