...Because you're detached from reality....

The last time i responded to direct questions was from fender, which was a complete waste of my time. with comments like the one i quoted I see no reason to directly respond to you as the impression you are conveying is that you have already made up your mind, I accept that this is not a unique position of people posting in this thread.

Andrei Nikiforov, a lawyer from St Petersburg, was one of the hundreds of thousands of Russians mobilised since last month to hold the frontlines in his country’s faltering war in Ukraine.

On 25 September he received his call-up papers. By 7 October, just two weeks later, he was dead.

“We don’t know what happened,” said Alexander Zelensky, the head of the Nevsky Collegium of Lawyers, of which Nikiforov was a member. Zelensky and a member of Nikiforov’s family confirmed his call-up and death. “All we have is a date and a place.”

That place was Lysychansk, one of the most dangerous spots near the frontlines.

Oh, lol, I actually saw something about this guy, and I think it's a good lesson into how absolutely obsessed with lying Western media is.

From Slavyangrad on Telegram:

Quote
Andrei Nikiforov (left) is described as a "lawyer from St Petersburg" who at the age of 40 was killed on October 7th in Lysichansk, just 10 days after being mobilised. The detail which is missing from Western sources is that since the late 1990s until June 2022, Andrei was a member of one of Russia's elite special forces units. His combat experience began in the second Chechen war, and he remained in active service until 2022. During the last years of his service he studied law, the practice of which he had just started since his discharge only 4 months ago. There should be no surprise that his time from mobilization to deployment was short.

Again, if it wasn't already completely clear to anyone, you simply cannot depend on Western media to inform you about anything that involves enemy states.

I'll take that as a 'yes, I do hope Tornado Battalion returns to Mariupol.'

So Kadirovs nephew has came to Ukraine and now is POW, so much for great Jihad. Chechens are some of the dumbest most useless people on this earth seriously all their involvement on the Ukrainian front lines been making tik-tok clips while over 70,000 Russians not counting mercenaries and proxies have died beside them.

I'll take that as a 'yes'

to be quite frank this is quite typical of an element in society which will look for fault/blame in anything anyone says or does, purely because YOU have made up your mind to view someone as your enemy. its like me saying:

if YOU post in this topic again then you are bla bla bla. This is completely stupid logic. If you persist in said direct attacks I will just treat you as I treat Fender, that is, to completely ignore him, and you.

So in actual news, the G7 (plus Australia) has finally implemented their price cap. China, India and everyone else are certainly excited to be able to buy Russian petroleum at a discount and sell it to desperate Europeans at full price.

One seriously has to wonder just how stupid the entire Western world's policy makers are.

Go ahead. I use to mistake you for someone who tried to understand the situation honestly, even if you approached it from a liberal angle, but it's become clear you're going to turn right as this goes on.

By any standard, objective or not, Ukraine is winning the war by an insane margin.

When the invasion started Russia had a simple and overly confident goal. They would “shock and awe” the weak Ukrainian Army, waltz into Kyiv using their countless tanks, crush the unpopular Ukrainian government, and set up a Ukrainian puppet government.

Russia was defeated. They took INSANE losses, failed to take the city, and then were pushed out of the area entirely by a Ukrainian counterattack. This is a monumental failure in tactical and strategic terms. It would be like US forces being defeated in their advance to Baghdad and then driven out of Iraq entirely.

Russian propagandists tried to move the goalposts. They said the real goal was in the Donbas and Kyiv was a feint and now the Russians would descend on Eastern Ukraine with a vengeance.

The goalposts were now Novomoskovsk- an important city. If Russia could take Novomoskovsk in the next few months that would mean their advance was moving at a somewhat decent pace and victory could be achieved in some small way.

By May it was clear Novomoskovsk was off the table- Russian forces had made no real progress. So the goalposts moved and now Pershotravensk became the goal. Then by June Russian forces were nowhere near Pershotravensk. It might as well have been on the moon. So Russia tries to take Druzhkivka and that becomes the new goal. Well as July comes around Russian forces are nowhere near Druzhkivka. Russia got as far as Severodonetsk- a city a far way away from Druzhkivka.

This was the PEAK of the Russian advance.

Now let’s go back to where the war is today. As everyone knows Ukraine counter-attacked around Kharkiv and crushed the Russian forces in that region with over 3000 Russians dying in 3 days on that front alone. Russian forces didn’t withdraw- they ran for their lives and retreated back into Russia in total chaos, leaving tanks and valuable supplies behind.

This is a spectacular and devastating victory for Ukraine.

They have taken the initiative- Russia is now threatened directly and facing serious problems. They will be forced to respond to Ukraine’s movements
They have taken lots of pressure off the frontline and thrown the entire Russian advance into disarray. Since Russia is now threatened directly Russia is stripping troops from the South to reinforce that front

Let’s all remember something- this has cost Russia A LOT. Russia has taken insane losses, lost irreplaceable gear, and its economy is in serious trouble. Russia has paid dearly and accomplished none of its goals.

So Russia went from failing to advance in any meaningful way to now being pushed back actively and having their entire war effort threatened. They are now resorting to bombing civilian infrastructure comitting war crimes and violating Geneva treaty they signed which as always means Russia can never be trusted as its a savage country of liars and prostitutes which cannot be trusted. With Kherson pull-back on the horizon the questions will be asked even more inside Russia where half of their army disappeared and how come they are losing on all fronts.

Point 1: Ukraine wants MORE

Ukraine just wanted to survive at first. They were likely willing to give up the Donbas and Crimea in exchange for peace. Not anymore. Ukraine can win now and they realize it, from the common troops to the top-level commanders. Ukraine is going to take back every inch of territory they lost and Crimea.

Point 2: Russia is in a corner

Putin is so screwed. He now needs to mobilize and call up reserves to win the war. This would basically mean he has to declare this a war and state publically that the military failed. He would also have to crash his own economy by calling millions away from their jobs and lives to fight a war Putin started.

Point 3: NATO is winning

The entire goal here for Russia was to keep Ukraine out of NATO. Well NATO is bigger and better than ever. Germany is expanding its military, the Nordic countries are trying to join, and Ukraine is now die-hard anti-Russian.

Point 4: Losses- insane losses

Russia now has lost 70,000 men. That's 12 times more men than the US lost in all 10 years of the Iraq War. Meanwhile, the Russian economy is being propped up by foreign currency spending and financial restrictions. Things are bad for Russia- really bad.

Point 5: Russia’s goals

Let’s judge this war by what Russia wanted to accomplish

Goal 1: Establish a puppet Ukraine government, expand Russian influence, diminish NATO, and frighten the West. FAILED
Goal 2: Take the Donbas and Odesa: FAILED
Goal 3: Keep Russia safe from Ukrainian forces: REMAINS TO BEEN SEEN

By Russia’s own standards they are losing and losing badly.

How sanctions against Russia "don’t work"

The brakes of a Ural Airlines aircraft jammed yesterday while landing at the Irkutsk airport. Because of this, four wheels burst, and the Airbus A320 could not be moved off the runway for a long time.

According to the Telegram channel Mash, less than a minute before landing, the parking brake spontaneously turned on the aircraft. The alarm went off, the commander moved the parking brake lever to the on / off position several times. It did not help, the wheels remained braked. The pressure relief did not work either. The aircraft was going down and had to make an emergency landing.

You can remember this case when someone tries to convince you that sanctions against Russia do not work. In some ways, they work even too well. Considering the catastrophic situation with the lack of spare parts for the repair of aircraft, the next time the accident may occur at high altitude. What it can lead to, it's scary to even imagine. This time there were no casualties, but winter is long and cold, Russia will pay in human lives which obviously it never cared about for its war crimes.

In occupied Donetsk, tik-tok troops of Kadyrov staged a brawl in a restaurant, and later threw a grenade inside

Donetsk tg-channels write that local families went to celebrate the holiday in a restaurant where the Kadyrovites began to molest women. The husband of one of the women did not like the harassment of his wife, after a short verbal skirmish, the Kadyrovite could do nothing better than throw a hand grenade into the restaurant.

Kadyrov's tik-tok killers cannot fight on the battlefield, so they take revenge on civilians.
