This first review is hilarious. In the span of two sentences the guy goes from saying events after the 'success' of 1776 prove the scare over abolition was "immaterial", immediately followed by a claim the 1776 should be seen positively because.... of events that happened after 1776!
He of course then goes on to say Losurdo is likewise wrong to be dismissive of 1776 because - I actually laughed out loud at this - Marx and other Marxists generally praised bourgeois revolutions when they were alive.
Truly an incredible review, thanks for posting it.
