Freaking NATO MASTERS never know what kind of foul genocide they are planning in countries they invaded and enslaved like Latvia, Lithuania, Poland etc. People in those countries starving as NATO Masters and US troops raid their houses for last loaf of bread.

Are you a Russian Bot or something? Latvia, Lithuania and particularly Poland have been absolutely amazing.

Has Putin ever lied about anything? US and NATO Masters playing dirty games on Russias borders, annexing entire countries against their will by staging coups of Pro-democratic Pro-Russian governments left and right since 1990 also developing biological weapons in forms of mosquitos programmed to bite and kill Russian people. It has already been proven that NATO Masters sent a British scuba diver with 50 tons of explosives on his back to blow up the Baltic pipelines.

Heres a picture

I know you are speaking shit now because he resigned from that role decades ago. UK is in turmoil now because we don't know who is going to undertake that role anymore.

Britain now has to make ends meet with this diver, but he is old and has the capacity to carry only 30 tons of explosives on his back.

So if the United States is so completely unreliable in honoring any agreements, why does it even matter if NATO expands?

NATO isn't just America, and regardless of whether the US would actually honor article five in certain situations (does anyone think America is gonna commit nuclear seppuku for some Turks, for example?), it's an escalatory ladder that gives America the political go-ahead to escalate dramatically, with or without a war happening. America isn't capable of agreements, but it is capable of extreme bouts of violence that states have to try every avenue to guard themselves against.

Also, I think a lot of 'enemy' states were hoping that this wasn't actually true. I'm fairly sure (but not entirely!) that Russia has finally learned this lesson. I think China has. I know Iran certainly has as evidenced by the recent JCPOA negotiations. JCPOA was only 7 years ago! I think the world is starting to come to terms with the nature of the American state and what it's capable of as it's relative power declines.

History is weird. Most of North and South America is an Extension of the Spanish, Dutch, French and British. Ironically a lot of what Americans celebrate is the biggest genocide known to mankind.

I dunno about the irony, I think the defining character of America (and Canada and Australia) has to be found in their initial genocides, and additionally to differing degrees in the history of slavery.

The foundation of American mythology is that they escaped from an imposing tyrant to establish a revolutionary, vibrant liberal democracy. What they actually did was rebel against the abolition of slavery passed by London, and went to war to keep their human tools. It was a counter-revolution in that sense. A lot of Americans (not on PARDfront, perhaps) look at the ACW with a bit of chagrin about the cause of the Confederacy, but haven't come around to understanding it's really more of a second substantiation of the America's initial rebellion against abolition.

Little wonder that these countries find themselves at the top of a bloodsucking imperial order that still depends on the extraction of wealth from impoverished and financially colonized 'lessers', and will go to extreme lengths to defend it. (We're talking openly about doing Cuban Missile Crisis 2 in Finland this week, with much less competent actors in place than JFK.) 1,600 billion USD a year flows out of Africa, net. There's a reason we see Western and Central African protesters, coup leaders and liberation movements waving Russian flags these days. They want their enemy to lose in Europe so the boot comes off their neck, at least a little bit, at home.

Edit: Oh, and Haitians, who are currently being subjugated once again by a combined US/Canadian invasion force to put down their most recent attempt at self-determination. Not a peep on PARD from the Ukrainian-agency-defenders about that country, though.

Great response. There was a big genocide with the Aborigines. Australia was historically the dumping ground for British criminals. The question is, do you hold the people accountable for the actions 150-200 years ago?

I suppose the weird thing we are dealing with is that Russia are being crushed by two empire states in US and China; and possibly India also. The last weakness NATO has is Kaliningrad. The entire Russian doctrine is about the expansion of Nato and right now they could not be more of an advocate to join Nato. I don't know how much you know about the Republic of Ireland but they are training Ukrainians in mine disposal. Ireland have remained neutral forever and Russia are bullying them because they have no alliances.
