So not surprising:

UK Ministry of Defence added: "In the last six weeks there has been a clear move from Russian ground forces to transition to a long-term, defensive posture on most areas of the front line in Ukraine.
"This is likely due to a more realistic assessment that the severely undermanned, poorly trained force in Ukraine is currently only capable of defensive operations.

.

I also see:

"This week, across the UK, Ukrainian recruits trained intensively in frontline battlefield skills to help them defend their homeland. The UK Armed Forces are proud to welcome trainers from nine other nations to take part in this programme."

All of that is from that twitter feed.

Yep, was probably a bad idea to use "UK intelligence" as a source, the national bashing seems real...
Btw EU countries agree to train Ukrainian soldiers as part of new mission

What i was saying, more exactly, is that Russia will defend what it stole and that; very precise shelling weapons will be key to destroy their strongholds/bases.

I don't support it, I'm mainly interested in Zakarpattia which (as for now) seems to be the most peaceful part in Ukraine. I see it as independent country which belongs neither to Russia, nor to Ukraine. I clearly can't speak for the people of Zakarpattia since I haven't been there for years, so it's just my opinion. You can parry it with independent Moscovia or whatever, would be the same.

My wife has family in Zakarpattia. Tons of young men being taken from there and being shipped east to fight, last time we talked to her she was saying there's a lot of caskets coming back... So far my wife's family has been spared because they are part of a church with a member who is a multi millionaire and is aiding in other ways (transport and humanitarian ways) to basically prevent forcing church members to go fight.

Also I don't think what you're talking about will happen. Yeah they have a mix of Hungarians within that region but they are generally very Ukrainian. From my wife's account they tend to be nationalistic, much more of what you'd see in Lviv versus other parts in the east. I could see in the future that region becoming a bit more autonomous but they wont secede. Same with Chernivtsi. Even though it has a lot of Romanian/Moldovan population, i don't see some strong push of secession. Hungary and Romania won't really push for any turmoil in those regions either IMO. What's the point?

As far as power outages, I mean it's pretty obvious it's impacting Ukraine. I seen a few videos of Kiev on Twitter with whole swaths of the city being dark. If Russia continues striking power sources it's going to make Ukraine very unlivable going into the winter. Zelensky already said that Ukrainians in Europe should not return home for now because of this. I think you may see even more people leave the country because of lack of power.

Kiev in recent days:

You seem to care about Ukraines electricity more than actual Ukrainians care about it  gotta find direction in your life bruh, otherwise you will be a failure all your life just as you are now, your only outlet seems to be coming on a d2jsp political discussions forum and telling everyone Ukraine is about to be utterly destroyed  like how sad is your life?

This is what peak bipolarity, borderline personality disorder looks like.

Fun fact, the 9 nations posted there are the one who used the Covid hoax the longest. Guess why. They all belong to the Jews . Now you guys gonna trust them with Ukraine/Russia war?

Low IQ people never learn.

Dear forum members I regret to inform you that one of our most active fellows has passed on. We never met in life but I will keep a memory alive. You had a sex with my dead relatives so I think we were close enough to call you a friend at least. Rest in Peace, Lvivz.
