I dont disagree with what you said in your post above. in terms of Ukraine and democracy, I would say that the west has been slowly welcoming Ukraine, long before 2014.

I was talking about the removal of corruption & training of the Ukrainian army by others countries, since 2014.

Democratization is a long process, it can even fail in the long run if the constitution is badly designed.

Ukrainian army no longer has any.
To clarify this. I don't support any side of the conflict. I used to live in Ukraine for a half of my life and have a family there. Nor I support propaganda. If you have time to sort the things out then do it.
