So much projection. Maybe he was having a bad day and just really ducked up? Does it matter at all at this point? A man is dead and another man needs to be prosecuted for his crimes.
I honestly don't understand why Chauvin is defended at all. There were 4 cops there. They weren't dogpiling on him to keep him restrained. He was in a police car before that. If he's that much of a danger don't take him out of the police car. Obviously at some point he stopped being a danger because he died on the scene. Why did he need to keep his knee on a dead person?
The reason is clear from where I'm standing. He was unnerved by the man who had 4 guys on top of him and had already been restrained far beyond reason. Chauvin was not capable of acting rationally even while the perp was totally restrained and literally dying.
I don't find weakness to be something defendable when you're in a position that relies on you not being weak. If you want to be a weak person that's fine, but don't try to take the lead when you're a weakling.
But, like I said, not everybody had strong leaders in their lives, so not everybody knows what strength and humility looks like. Hell, most people don't think strength and humility can exist in the same person.
