They aren't.
The founding fathers had an advantage that most older countries didn't have. They had about 4000 years of data about governing, to work with when they created the system that's in use in this country.
Personally, I think the US has done a good job so far. In Under 300 years we're one of the world's three super powers. And, from my point of view, we're the only one the rest of the free world can trust.l
u should read a book about the constitution's history rather than just reflexively blaming MSM.
all of the document is up to interpretation almost down to the sentence.
freedom of speech, but then we got libel, slander, hate speech, etc.
right to bear arms and form a militia, but not tanks, grenades, and what exactly is a militia.
as far as rights go, none are perfectly clear in origin or precedent.
the only clear passages are on the specific workings of govt, how congress works, how ties are settled, how new states must be ratified, etc.
its such juicy irony that someone claiming others are rewriting history is doing to say so.
