The fact that people have been in a virus lockdown for a while surely contributed to the pent-up frustration that they are releasing here.

I'm not saying that the lockdown shouldn't have been implemented or that something like this was bound to happen. Just observing that this was a unique situation in which it requires less of a trigger to set off a powder keg. The weather has started getting nice, this is the time of year when MN residents are used to finally being able to spend more time outdoors.

Wonder how many of the rioters out tonight burning down the city were criticizing the crowd for meeting up outside Shady's bar to show support?

gunshots all over stream, fires are getting out of control. Will be a lot more than just 2 dead by the time the night is through

Collateral damage.

To me pointing out a single victim of the rioting is a bit disingenuous. What stands out to me is that these incidents just keep on happening without any actual reform happening.

It's a good reason to be angry.

Black activists for sure arent helping their cause by looting, harming innocent third parties or burning their own city down.

totally agree with all of that

just saying that it's more complicated than YRWYS. The people who are powerful enough to have the cops arrested yesterday (but didn't) are sitting comfortably in their nice suburban houses right now.

They ain't reapin' nothing right now and probably never gonna.
