I'm not even worried about America's ability to mass produce weapons - that we can do.

I'm terrified that our population now has a sub 95 average IQ and is 77% obese. That reason alone is why America is doomed to lose any meaningful conflict in the future - conscript who?

A difference of 5 in IQ is not significantly different from 100. It's a rounding error. Anything between 90 and 110 is normal and one standard deviation (enough for you to be differentiable in any meaningful way) is 15.

The difference between 90 and 110 is "just normal," guys - 20 IQ points diff. NBD

Because you genuinely don't know:

The difference between 90 and 110 iq is the difference between being a warehouse slave or a lawyer.

It is lol. You know what the difference between a 95 and 100 IQ is? If you had breakfast that morning. IQ is not a static feature like we once thought it was.

Do you have brain damage?

America's carriers would be getting sunk by missiles they can't even see.

You should look into America's defense capabilities, then realize that the stuff you can google about how we can protect our carriers is just the old stuff we've let the public know about.

I hope so, because if Senile Biden walks us into WW3, you're going to need whatever ninja tech they have to intercept ICBMs.

Obese (X)
Triple dosed (X)

I laughed at "supermacy military" speech. In reality though Russia is much more advanced than anyone else in furtive and destructive weapons.

It wasn't on the news so he doesn't know about them yet.

Why bother with this noname brand hopium when even bastion of liberal dorks Wikipedia mocks it: "Since conventional interceptor missiles have difficulty against maneuvering targets traveling faster than Mach 5 (the DF-ZF reenters the atmosphere at Mach 10), a problem exacerbated by decreased detection times, the United States may place more importance on developing directed-energy weapons as a countermeasure.[13] However, after decades of research and development, directed-energy weapons are still very much at the experimental stage and it remains to be seen if or when they will be deployed as practical, high-performance military weapons.[16][17][18]"

Exactly what I mean about American overconfidence and mediocrity of insight, and how it creates an ideological environment where America is driven towards conflicts it cannot win.

The most astounding thing about comments like this is that the people in the very top of the American political establishment, despite certainly being aware of for example how much tonnage of destroyers and cruisers China drops into the ocean each year versus how much American tonnage has declined over the past thirty, they still have this ridiculous belief in American supremacy.

America is so far ahead of China militarily. Winning a war with China for the US would not mean invading China mainland. Winning for the US would be containing China. Something that they are already doing.
Dropping tonnage into ocean might be ideal for projecting regional power, but China is not even a fully fledged regional power whilst Taiwan is not under their control.

Talking about China even being close to the USA military in 5 years is total nonsense. China won't be successful in defeating the US military in any of our lifetimes, probably not this century.

The US by itself could spank China 3 times over, not to mention South Korea, a potential re-militarizing Japan, the Aussies, India, Israel and other allies.
Who is China main ally militarily? The Russkis running from Kherson to Crimea as we speak? The North Koreans literally starving to death in concentration camps?

What was the last war that Chinese army or air force fought in? Korea? By proxy in Vietnam? Absolute nonsense.

Sunk? Unlikely. Damaged to the point of inoperability and having to withdraw? Certainly possible, if Chinese targeting is good.

If the Japs could sink carriers with cardboard planes, I'm pretty sure Xia mang bow mong's hypersonic missiles can sink them too.

It's hard to imagine how dumb a person has to be to imagine that fighting opium farmers in Afghanistan or imposing a naval blockade against a country without a navy in Yemen breeds experience fighting a real conventional war, but, again, in all likelihood this is exactly what people like Austin and Blinken think.

Anyone remember that ship that burned up in San Diego a few years and probably gave half the people in that city cancers they'll be declaring bankruptcy for in 2030?

Turns out the sailors on that boat did not know there was a button that put out fires on the ship. No one tried to press it.

But would it have mattered? Apparently, maintenance on the ship was so bad that it's likely that had the fire suppression system been activated, it wouldn't have worked.

And you think these sailors are going to deal with hypersonic glide vehicles dropping out of the sky?

OK bud :)
