I went from supporting the protestors to wanting a brutal crackdown by the police as soon as these thugs started looting and burning shit. A bullet lodged in the skull of every person who smashed a window or helped set a building on fire would help make society better.

That isn't the majority of what is happening though.

The police are shooting tear gas at peacefully assembled people here and other cities.

The vast majority of these protesters are civil minded people.
