Never underestimate your enemy my friend.
Russia is still a big country, that has money from their resources, and China/India still trade with them.
They also have some citizens who can be mobilized to rebuild their troops.
They underestimated Ukraine, they thought you guys wont really fight back, they were obviously wrong.
But we cant expect them to make the same mistakes over and over again.
We dont really know how well will their economy and country work in new conditions, but its better to prepare for the worse scenario, while keeping your fingers crossed for the best one.
Well you know this could of been said in march maybe early april, during winter months mobile war machines need 40% more maintenance 40% more break downs, Russia is scraping the bottom of the barrel begging Belarus for its tanks and Iran for drones.
If Russia had true capability to do something through conventional means it would of done so by now, 300,000 disorganized drunkards with tampons won't be able to do much on the ground. Our positions in the east around Dnipropetrovsk and Poltava are rock solid.
Not sure if you have seen this, but russians are building world war 2 style trench defenses, 2 lines
O -------------- O -------------- O
--------X----------------X-----------
Exactly the same defensive lines that failed against German blitzkrieg and led to massacre/complete surrounding of hundreads of thousands of Soviet troops
and that was 80 years ago, can't make this shit up, its like a time machine when you study russian military tactics in this war. Well with the likes of Shoigu at the helm, its not surprising, I would be better general than him.
