russia has no right to demand, with the threat of war no less, that it's neighbors don't get to join NATO. because, and here's the kicker, russia is willing and able to invade it's neighbors. if they ever had a leg to stand on that went away the moment they annexed Crimea.

i'm not even pro nato. for decades i've called the strengthening and expansion of nato a ploy to fear monger russia and sell weapons. i was wrong, russia can and will invade countries near it to defend not it's borders but sphere of influence.
