I'm curious what do you think journalists do? Sit there refreshing their twitter feeds, CDC reports, field reports every 30 seconds with a word doc open waiting to pen the next corona article for 8 hours straight?

Maybe they do this to some extent but people with an iq of 90 or above can keep up both on corona as well as be able to keep up with other news. Thinking that this isn't catching on because literally all journalists are working on corona is some next level spin.

There's a distinction between what journalists are doing and what news networks choose to devote their hours to. There's been reporting on this sexual assault case... but the reason it's not getting covered much in primetime(outside of Fox) is the coronavirus.
