The Muslim world said the same about Israel, and tried to make it happen.

But again, name me a motivation for NK to preemptively strike ANYONE and i'll agree with you
. I only ask because all motivations anyone can think of for them getting a nuke are defensive posturing, maybe you can crack the code of why a NK nuke is dangerous enough thing to cost the million lives of Koreans it will incur to take the Nukes away.

I can show you a lot of projections of what a random meteor can do to the earth, but you can still go outside and live life without needing to make plans for the end of the world.

I agree, but there isn't a damn thing we can do about an asteroid, there is something that can be done about this.

If all things where equal I would agree with you. He has to know if he attacks WMD's (allegedly his Chemical/Biological capabilities are much greater than his nuclear ones) or with just conventional weapons thats all she wrote for him. It literally would be the hermit kingdom vs the world. Still, what bothers me is we're talking about a desperate man who was indoctrinated his entire life along with his people of their superiority and how they will win a military conflict. I've never met the guy so I can't tell you if he's delusional or rational when it comes to that, I guess I'm assuming the worst.

Should he do it and should we retaliate with nukes which is a big IF Pyongyang is gone. I ran that nuke simulator that I posted with a simulated strike on Pyongyang by a Trident missile fired from a US Sub. The results where not good for NK and far more devastating than anything they have.

this is patently false. Kim is not stupid and his regime DOESNT think they will win. Also he's not desperate, his people are. Kim will be happy to be the last NK citizen alive and let everyone else starve. The lower classes starvation means NOTHING to him, at all.

you need to separate what Kim thinks and what Kim says to his people. you keep blurring those lines WAY too much. We have defecters and many hours of interview with his family, the mindset of the regime isn't a secret.

Kim Jong is stuck between a bluff and a hard spot. He's threatened to nuke the US. If he doesn't, his nukes won't give him any political sway, which seems to be what he's after.

Each of his tests are successives new proofs of better nuclear/range power capacity.
He's not stuck since all he need is more and more time to end up into some kind of undeniable disuasion.

He'll need 50 years to reach an "undeniable" place. Better to stop it now than later.
