Put it this way, if US turn off intelligence and satellite support , I think Ukraine is going to have a very very bad time.
The Baltics are kinda useless. Even if Russia's military is depleted to a point of no return , she still have tactical nukes so it can never be depleted enough. Putin just celebrated his 70th Birthday. If something happens to him naturally and he doesn't have a successor. Then perhaps the war will be won by the West without lifting another finger.

I know that is what we're already doing. I don't think we have any plans to do more outside nuclear weapons use.

Let's make it simple and assume that Russia will use nukes in Ukraine: How would you rate any kind of physical intervention by NATO (be it an attack on russias infrastructure or whatever along those lines), would you rate it as smart or would you rate that intervention as batshit crazy?

Doing nothing is not an option. I don't think any nuclear weapons use is justified, on either parties' account. So the question becomes what is a justified, measured response to nuclear provocation? I don't have enough information to say, other than "not nothing."

I have a feeling they will use one in the black sea first in close approximity to Ukraine and test the waters before they use it on land just to Guage international reactions.

I m sure Russia wants to see China's and India's reactions.

It does seem relatively harmless. What if the US detonates a nuke in the Black Sea near Russia? Even if they have zero intention of using one in retaliation for land use nukes?

Let's see how the mid term goes first. .
