It is no different than saying everyone should be gifted $50,000 dollars by the government to get out of poverty. A child probably thinks it is the best idea ever. Anyone with common sense knows it is idiotic.
Another example of the left ignoring consequences is thinking we can go green overnight. Sure it sounds like a great idea if you completely ignore the huge negative side effects that will come with that.
Ideas on paper are exactly that. Just like how locking down people to stop covid may have sounded like a good idea if you ignored the massive issues it has caused.
