Nah, nn intellectual acrobatics. I posted several texts, whole James 2. They are not out of context, I have read the Bible. The thing is, that the concept of salvation was a very diffuse one and the authors had different opinions about it. Early on they even wanted to exclude Paul's writings from the Bible. If you read the Bible it becomes very clear that Paul is so different from any other in the Bible.
And I base that on the fact that most people in the world has not heard the gospel. I listened to a pastor on youtube and he said most christians wont go out soul winning.
I replied to the James 2 one. Sometimes Paul isn't very clear, even the other authors agree. Paul is very different from any other because of the way he started out, as a murderer persecuting Christians.
So if you agree that most people in the world have not heard the gospel then isn't that all the more reason to go out and tell everyone the good news? Why try to stop it? Some countries already have a law against that. Yet look at the missionaries that do go out and risk their lives to tell others about the gospel.
Most Christians will tell others in a more local environment. Then there is the internet...
