I get paid in HKD which is pegged to USD, so far still ok. But kudos to you, I know our pay structure can't be compared to yours in USA and pretty low IQ job too.

What I said is pretty incontrovertible. R&D spending in China is a tiny fraction of what spent in the United States and the vast majority of "innovation" in China is stolen.

Similarly the West is not really dependent on China for much, but without income from the west buying cheap Chinese goods they would immediately collapse.

Taiwan south korea and Japan are far more important than China for the west.

You make 35k a month? Not bad at all. If i had a real job and supported the Matrix, i'd prob aim for something like that. I never understood people who work for less than 100-150k a year but hey! We ain't all born equal. We need people at the bottom to support the top of the food chain!

And a lot of retail business is expanding in Asia like Louis Vuitton , Hermes, Chanel luxury brands

Sports goods like Nike , etc etc

Because so far in our part of Asia, it is still considered quite safe as these retail outlets are not being broken into as often during protests or political upheavals.

In regards of South Korea, Taiwan and Japan. All of them depend on their trade with China a lot more than USA at the moment. But just at the moment.

The difference is for the west China is a "nice to have" trading partner. But for China the west is an absolute necessity to maintain any semblance of economic success.

There is nothing much you can trade with "West China" as a matter of fact South Korea, Taiwan and Japan will move away from the US if they could.

Japan will have a hard time because they haven't exactly solve their problems with the entire East Asia due to WW2. They are the odd one out and they need the United States for protection,

South Korea are quite Anti American.

Taiwan is basically a chess piece.

And all three are being used by the United States at the moment to prevent China's rise in her aggressive economical dominance.

The problem with Japan is that they do not really admit their WW2 invasion and crimes unlike the Germans and they have a shrine dedicated to their war criminals which the government regularly visits and pay respect to.

It is similar to white Americans denying that they own slaves and they are just helping them cross from Africa to the US and give them a good job in the agricultural sector.

You're bringing a bunch of social things that aren't relevant.

South korea is an important trading partner both directions as is Taiwan. They make things we can't get elsewhere. China doesn't, at least not to nearly the same extent.

if asian countries have to make formal apologies for war crimes it would take a century just to read them all out. asian war history makes even african child soldier genocides look tame.

That is similar to saying the North Koreans will never be able to make a working Nuclear Weapon or have the ability to launch a missile because they have been sanctioned to the ground and they are extremely backwards.
