Nah that truck is loaded, the compression brakes were able to kick in luckily or there would be bodies on that road, doubt he even meant to go that way.
Those tankers weigh 30+ tonnes and take a long time to stop.

Looks more like gallows humor for a dangerous run to me, i know these drivers and used to talk to them every day.
If you know how a tanker operates you will know that guy did everything in his power to stop, anything more and that truck rolls and everyone on that bridge dies.

Go back and watch the video again. He went around a police barricade, on a road that was closed well before that barricade. He came to a stop, and then moved again, like he was fixing to push a crowd to get out. This wasn't an accident.
