She should send herself a ‘congratulations to the future POTUS’ tweet, that always seems to work

People won't vote for Warren the same reason they didn't vote for Clinton. She is a shrill ass woman.

Trump is gonna kill her with the Pocahontas stuff. Give him a challenge.

Americans don't want a president who cheated to get into graduate school. Everybody claims to be 1/16th Cherokee or whatever but they don't do it to take advantage of programs to assist minorities in having better representation in professional fields.

what is it with you and simplistic historical hypotheticals? you act like 'support by whites' and 'threat of extensive racial unrests' are somehow mutually exclusive, when in fact the latter could (and probably has) directly cause the first.

i mean sure, to liberals already sympathetic to the cause, physical violence would arguably be a downside, but suggesting that it would turn them away from it entirely, is a pretty big stretch given which rights were at stake. and much more important: suggesting that idealists recognising the justice of the cause were the only way to success, outright ignoring people who chose 'equality on paper' as the 'lesser of two evils' over a racewar, is just mindblowingly ignorant.

If you polarize people because of their group identity you won't end up with a large pool of neutral people who will act as rational individuals. Instead you will get an embedded us vs them mentality.

Civil violence is a slippery slope to chaos. It's not a pathway to cooperation.

I’m in complete agreement with everything here

I don't understand why we give such radical people a voice. To make ourselves feel better or something? It's really weird.

If one more polyamorous coastal 'queer' tells me Pete Buttigieg isn't gay enough I'll scream. He is — and so am I

Many, if not most, gay people are boring. They don't spend their time sniffing poppers at a Fire Island orgy; they spend their time at churches in flyover states. In rural America, Buttigieg still counts as radical

“polyamorous coastal 'queer'”

is this an insult or a compliment?

Remember all the media buzz that he was getting as soon as he announced his candidacy? Remember the huge surge in donations that he immediately got, enough for him to stay in the race well into the primary season?
Imho, the big money donors of the Democratic party knew that Biden was a doubtful candidate, so they pushed a young, fresh, articulate guy into the race as a backup who will pick up the mantle of the "moderate lane" if Biden falters.

Imho, Buttigieg was deliberately pushed from obscurity so that there is at least one "clean", presentable guy in the race who can formulate a straight sentence and who's neither a socialist nor a geriatric, child-sniffing gaffe-machine. On top, Buttigieg is appealing to the same college-educated whites who propelled Warren, therefore, his ascent is directly cutting into her support. From the pov of the Democratic donor class, this is yet another very welcome development.
