The fact is that Soviet era stuff which the Ukrainian army is trained on and has ammo for has almost completely ran out. Russia has blown it all up.

So pray tell, what tanks are Ukraine going to use moving forward? The Abrams? The Leopard? Systems which their soldiers are not even trained on and which require their own maintenance, ammo types, different spare parts, different specialists, etc,

It has gotten to the point that Ukraine is now fielding old ass T-55's. Once those are gone - and they will get blown up even easier and faster - what then.

The fact is, you don't have an easy answer for these kind of logistics issues. You're going off the top of your head, or maybe not even that

this narrative makes no sense, the west, for now, will continue to arm ukraine. you dont have to agree with me on this.

is there a reason putin hasn't been assassinated yet?
why are russians a bunch of dumb cucks getting rounded up for the meat grinder on the front lines with no military training when all that's needed to end the war is one guy with balls taking out putin?

How do you kill a guy who rules his country for 25years, who already murdered all of his opposition, even the slightest one, and is very careful about his own security?
Remember when he stood inside bullet proof "Cage" when gave a speech on the stadium? Guess why he decided to do so xD
His ministers dont go to war, they enjoy rich life instead, why would any of them risk their life and wealth to kill Putin?

I don’t understand how people so simplistically assume that if he’s gone everything will be all of the sudden better. It’s possibly that he gets replaced by someone much worse.

The probability of the later is 99%. What people still don't realize he still isn't going USA on Iraq in Ukraine with disregard to civilian casualties.

You are correct. Noone can imagine that propaganda could exist at this level in the modern world. So what do you think about Yeltsin?

Did you read what I posted yesterday from RUSI?

The US and other allies are having to pull equipment from active units in their own militaries to give to Ukraine, and the last two "aid" packages have been mostly promises rather than material deliveries. Big news about 18 new HIMARS to Ukraine, but they aren't even built, yet. So, zero HIMARS, and they will slowly trickle in over however long it takes to make them.

Anyways, for updates it seems that Lyman lives another day, the Ukrainians were not successful in fully encircling or taking the city. Russians claim that the road allowing supply was briefly taken by Ukraine and then cleared by a RF counterattack. Road appears to be at least under Ukrainian fire control, who knows. Ukrainians will try again tonight.

Various reports of Ukrainians going all in on Lyman, even drawing troops and equipment away from Bakhmut, which has been under threat for several weeks, now.

It appears the Ukrainians have continued taking a beating in Kherson, and are almost pushed all the way back across the Ingulets.

If Lyman falls, it seems likely to be the last city the Ukrainians are able to take before the mobilization starts filling in Russian numbers in the coming weeks. I see various takes on how important Lyman is, or the town just northeast of it. Not sure what to think of it's importance tbh.

Just read the Putin speech. I think the mistake Western analysts (the smarter of them who are actually slightly honest, anyways) make is thinking of this speech as directed at or to the West and Ukraine. I think it's aimed at the rest of the world, the majority of whom will agree with almost everything Putin said about the West and in particular America. It's hard to imagine talking to a Chinese, Thai, Indian, Iraqi, Egyptian or Angolan who would disagree with even 10% of contents of that speech.

It is crazy that the focus of the United Nations is to focus on Africa and global warming, whilst someone is trying to start a war in a stile that existed 100 years ago.
