Who here has received the vaccine? Which one did you get, and how were the side effects? Asking so I have more information to argue against the vaccine skeptics I come across.

Double vaccinated

Pfizer

First dose got mild joint soreness. Second dose nothing. My wife had no side effects with either dose.

Everybody on my floor (~40 people) has had either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine and I'm not aware of anybody even missing a day of work from it. Worst side effect was my boss being tired the next day.

Pfizer and Moderna are basically the same level of effectiveness for those under 65 right?

Not totally sure, but I think so.

AFAIK Pfizer is still the gold standard of effectiveness.

This says they're basically the same, but I don't know if it's a good source. It cites 94% effectiveness on Moderna which would make it virtually the same as the Pfizer vaccine which is 95% after 2 doses.
