I never interned for the Secret Service. I declined to work at the Secret Service in their financial division when that opportunity arose. I interned on Capitol Hill as a lobbyist in 2010/2011

Above is one I just googled from a wonderfully moderate source called the Huffington Post. A Congressperson pointed out their fear and noted that the defense secretary was building up missile defense systems in Alaska and in the pacific. Now of course that could be to protect against China or Russia, but who knows. No true information on defense is going to be taken from the DoD and provided to the public without some type of agenda or intent.
