Goom recently posted a GIF showing who took what in terms of recent expansion, check it.

All fact, can't be denied ;)

sphere of influence expansion and literal invasion aren't the same. when sphere of influence expansion results in dead bodies however it is aggression. and when the US/Nato does that that's wrong, and it's their fault those people died.

we're like years into this and you still can't help by treat everyone as if they're a pro-NATO warhawk for doing nothing other than criticizing Russia.

say it plainly, what russia did here was wrong. russia is bad for killing people. say it. its your freedom. say it loud, say it often. orc.

There's still massive land-based pipelines, so the punctures of the Nord Stream pipelines would not stop Europe and Russia from resuming most of their gas trading if both sides want to. Therefore, your explanation that the US, or "warmongers" in the EU, are behind this - as some sort of preemptive sabotage of the gas infrastructure - makes no real sense. There's so much pipeline capacity sitting idle at the moment that the damage to Nord Stream doesn't make a practical difference.

This is nonetheless an interesting incident. My hypothesis would be that it's one of two things:

1.: Russia tried to empty the gas that was still left inside the actual pipelines, perhaps in preparation for the pipes being idle for a long time - and in the process, the pipelines were inadvertently damaged.
2.: Russia wants to demonstrate that gas pipelines at the ground of the Baltic Sea are vulnerable - a thinly veiled threat that they could attack the pipelines connecting Norway to continental Europe, and how fucked Europe would be if that "happened" in the deep of winter.

It's a huge portion of pipeline capacity, and the remaining pipelines run through the most hostile (to Russia) countries.

Also it's absurd to think Russia did this, lol. As silly as thinking Russia bombed their own Azov POWs, or bombed their own soldiers at their own nuclear power plant. But I guess if you believe any one of these absurdities, you may as well believe all of them.

Words mean things. Sorry this upsets you, huylo.

I'm honestly surprised that your monkey brain is even capable of forming words. I guess that's a start, even though you still can't see how retarded the things you say are

Promises, promises. Russia has been making empty threats constantly. They're on the verge of losing Lyman as we speak, maybe even being encircled, while Moscow messes around holding referendums that are entirely just legal boxchecking.

Putin is a pussy kind of, but i think there will be a lot of pressure on him to act. Especially since an attack on nordstream is a direct attack on russian infrastructure. It is basically like they shot missiles straight into moscow.

I expect there to be serious retaliation

Ukraine has been launching attacks into Russia proper for months, and Ukrainians still have electricity to run Telegram channels encouraging protests against mobilization.

Kadyrov was right when, at the beginning of this war, when he criticized the limited nature of the "SMO" for likely resulting in a longer, deadlier war for everyone involved. Should've bombed every power plant in Ukraine as soon as Zelensky walked away from negotiations in Turkey. Now they're just straight up losing major areas and offering up Russian-speaking Ukrainians for Banderites to live out their fantasies of carrying out 1942-style pogroms.

I think Russia will still eventually win, but this constant unwillingness to take the threat from NATO seriously is very dangerous.

I don't disagree. Russia has been doing some very bizarre stuff since the start of the war.

The entire military apparatus of ukraine runs on trains, and putin still hasn't destroyed the electric grid for example.

I saw a picture of a Ukrainian soldier boiling a human head in a pot and doing the salt bae pose, and Moscow is like "we need to be able to negotiate with them later" lol
