I mean the Russians control the gas flow. What exactly does blowing up the pipelines accomplish for them that they already didn’t have to begin with?
The net results of this is basically it will be slower/harder for Germany to get gas if they desperately need it, for let’s say emergency during winter.
it's pretty hard to say who did that yet. But it almost certain that it was an act of sabotage, as they recorded 2 explosions on seismographs in NS1 and NS2
Possibility1 (most likely): Most likely in my eyes: Putins False Flag. He has very high interest in breaking the US/EU bonds. What also speaks for this theory is the massive flooding of twitter with a biden speech from february (it means absolutely nothing) and one report that shows and US ship ~50km from the explosion. --> a prepared campaign.
Possibility2 (very unlikely): It was the US. But why? Very high risk for pipelines that literally transport no gas atm. It will most certainly come to light and endanger NATO extremely. That theory makes no sense to me. Rising gas prices could benefint LNG sellings.
Possibility3 (very unlikely): Germany itself because of the "open NS1" protests. Also very unlikely.
