he's got a 1984 level of memory dude. on top of that i asked him point blank what his knowledge of modern NK politics and govt are and he responded "i had family that fought in the war there".

the fact that he thinks it all "should have been dealt with" shows his lack of historical knowledge. The nukes aren't even the threat, never have been. We can stop (more than likely) 1-2 nukes launched just about anywhere. We can't stop 1000+ missiles per volley launched at Seoll, that's always been the problem for decades and its the reason we haven't invaded. Iran is too big to accurately police it's nuclear development. Not including ICBMs in the deal was a mistake. Only making it last for ten years was a mistake.

Scenario: Let's assume that Iran really doesn't make any nukes. Let's assume (which we don't have to assume) that Iran is making ICBMs (long distance ones). The time limit on the nuke deal runs out, Iran makes a few warheads, and already has the ICBMs, ready to go.

OOPS.


Hanging on to a bad deal, is dumb.
Everyone should pull out and tell Iran we're making a proper deal, and if they don't like it...sanctions.
