Assumption of guilt is not a legally or morally justified rationalization for firing on people you come across and forcing them to go inside.

if you don't want to 'bet your life' that some person on their own porch wont try to kill you, then don't go near them.

Like I said, the actions of some do not justify aggressing against others who had nothing to do with it.

Blind obedience to the state is not a virtue.

A militarized police force firing stuff at innocent people on their own property is not the only alternative to curfews and the national guard, which are already being used anyways.
Reports indicate it WAS the national guard who fired the projectiles.
