This whole issue should have been dealt with, long before NK had the capability to nuke SK or Japan.

The Israeli bomb certainly, the Pakistan bomb probably, owe a lot to France. As for Iraq, if its nuclear efforts failed, it is certainly not the fault of the French governments of the time...

You'll have to excuse my not understanding that letting even more countries develop nukes, is a good thing. Because it isn't.
I mean it can only be justified that letting all countries have nukes, would put everyone on an equal footing.
Well it may seem that way, but it isn't. Right now we only have to deal with whackos using conventional weapons to blow things up.

I dunno, maybe some of the more liberal thinking countries have secretly decided that the only way to deal with over population is to let the whacko countries have them.

Guess the only way to find out is to just sit back and let everyone have nukes. I wouldn't want to live in a country that didn't already have the seriously large defensive networks already in place.

As for placing the blame for "letting" NK have the time to develop nukes, I was referring to the Obama administration, and the UN I guess.

Yeah, I'm aware of both of those.

Here's some insight into Trump. He's not a social animal. He's not dumb though.

He won't nuke NK without serious provocation, like NK nuking the US. Congress isn't too sure about that, because they ARE social animals. The believe words, not actions.
Trump is no good with words...we all know that.

But if you look at the ACTIONS only, that he is trying to proceed with, I think he's doing OK. Yes, he is NOT socially acceptable.
But that still doesn't mean he's an idiot. It means he's a does rather than a talker.

SK is scared as well, and for the same reason Congress is. They are talkers. Left to themselves, the talkers and the doers usually do the same things. It seems to be how they present their ideas that is drastically different.

For example, Trump was not threatening with "fire and fury" because he "wanted" to do that, but because he thought that was the right way to make NK understand how much of a one sided contest it would be.
Like I said, he explains himself badly...or not in the expected methods.


But if anyone really pulls back and looks at what he DOES, I think they will see, he's doing exactly what is needed.

To answer to your last posts: seems "us supremacy" wasnt that much a great idea to keep the peace, so now, and since technology is increasing everywhere, more countries will have access to nuclear power (but also others "powers", like drones as a good example).
The best thing to do is to ensure those having their hands on it are -responsible and organized- countries, and not bananized republics...

About Trump ? Alot of hot air, weakening the U.S, more and more insults... But still nothing is done or fixed.
Nor Obama and any previous presidents had a solution for NK. Trump is just making things worse, i explained why some weeks ago in this topic.

I don't agree about trump, but it's very hard to explain.

If every one in the US govt. just pretended Trump knew what he was DOING, he would. He still would SAY dumb shyt. But he would DO a good job.
No one or group can take apart a person's ....plan, and expect it to function.

They either have to get behind him or get rid of him.
I know which you will pick. It may NOT be the BEST solution. I really think that if everyone just ignored what he says publicly, and only got behind him on what he wants to DO...it would work.


Maybe they just shouldn't let him speak publicly, unless it was rehearsed.

I don't agree with Trump, but I do agree with his ideas.
