It really is kind of jarring, even as someone with a low opinion of NATO collaborators, to see how Ukraine just shovels their troops into quite clear baits. Battalion after battalion marching into a salient that appears to have been intentionally left to develop by Russia and the DNR/LPR forces and then getting slaughtered.
