I don't understand what you're saying due to the grammar issues.

The ideal situation would be to lock down early, begin contact tracing and social distancing ASAP, have government replaced wages for a while to keep people in their houses. Then after a few weeks reopen with contact tracing, distancing, and individualized isolations to keep community spread from happening. Then mass vaccinate after the vaccine is available and fully open.

This reduces the spread of the virus which reduces opportunity for mutation, doesn't result in millions of evictions, and keeps the healthcare system from collapsing under the weight of the pandemic.

Instead we decided to stay relatively open, not do any coordinated contact tracing or local isolations, let community spread run only slightly impeded, and then vaccinate. Our healthcare system barely hung on thankfully, but we were only one step away from taking the worst possible answer lol

I've been pretty open about it. I got through my first year and decided I'd rather work in a lab. And now I'm managing a cancer lab at a major medical center, so my time in medical school wasn't a total waste. Much happier doing lab work and research.

I'm talking like well informed people talk. We know what to do for a respiratory virus. This isn't our first rodeo and it isn't the first time a respiratory pandemic occurred. The steps are pretty easy to see and the countries that implemented them did extremely well compared to the countries that didn't.

That I'm well informed on the subject? Yeah? It kinda does? I had to sit through Covid town halls every week or two for several months while the hospitals infectious disease experts told us about it and what the university was doing.
