As I said its an equally idiot rhetoric Djunior provided.
By following this chain of logic though, why would EU screw its ally by uplifting the sanctions and having to move this Western Support to new field in the Baltics/Poland where Russians if given free reign will launch new military operations, have you not heard Putins words on February 24th? He wants NATO to pull-back to its borders of pre-199x levels,
or Maybe its Ukraine the only country in Eastern Europe with actual battle hardened large military to be able to halt Russia standing between putin and half of Eastern Europe.
Same logic as blaming the victim for events caused by aggressor after all.
What's standing between Russia and the rest of Eastern Europe beyond Ukraine is a thing called "NATO", you might have heard of it. And no, I do not believe that the Polish military is any worse than Ukraine's. They might have slightly less troops, but much more modern equipment. And Poland is 1000km away from Russia, where logistics would be much harder for the attacker - the same logistics Russia is already struggling with in Eastern Ukraine, a mere 150km away from its own territory. This idea that Russia will steamroll Eastern Europe once Ukraine falls, that their tanks will be rolling through the streets of Berlin within one week and through Paris a week later, is not grounded in any reality.
And no, we will not lift the sanctions just like that - but it would be justified if Ukraine was foolish and ungrateful enough to blow up gas pipelines that we rely on.
