Imagine living in northern russia, watching as pipes beside your shack-like home pumped trillions of oil to Europe, whole forests cut down and sold to China, so Putin can have $18 billion mansion

And then be proud of municipal authorities opening a floating washing rack for clothing  and to put even more salt on the wound they are being docked pay from their measly wages to reconstruct whats left from Eastern Ukrainians villages.

Again, pretty funny anecdotes given you're a Ukraine defender, a country that everyone (prior to falling into ideological lockstep in Feb 2022) acknowledged was the poorest and most corrupt country in Europe.

A sizable reason, aside from the Kiev regime's brutalization of them, that Ukrainians want to join Russia proper is that it makes their economic prospects much better.

Yeah this copy pasta has long been proven to be a crappy piece of kremlin propaganda. Even there it was low quality thesis, stopped using it before Summer even began.

lol

Literally the only things you people have are:

1) "That's Russian propaganda"

2) "You're a Russian bot"

That's it. You ask for any proof of anti-Russian policies, I give you a list - "russian troll"

You say Ukraine being corrupt is Kremlin propaganda, I give you link, so lemme guess what the answer is? No need to see it to know.

Gasprom released this pictures of the “oil leak” that led to the gas pipeline being shut off recently.

Hilarious. Honestly, I have no sympathy for the Germans because they've been extraordinarily weak this entire time. The US will continue funneling stronger and stronger weapons and the Germans will front a substantial amount of the economic cost. It's only fair because we're only in this position BECAUSE of German weakness over the past decade or so.

I'm not sure I understand the Russian position here though. Are they trying to show Germany that they are deadly serious about cutting off gas in the winter? It seems to me that this is way too early and it encourages Germany to find some alternatives before autumn starts. I think Russia would be able to get Germany to capitulate if they did this in late October or something like that.

As if it's only the Germans - the Italians, Austrians, French and Hungarians have cuddled with Russia just as much over the past decade plus.

Fyi: Germany has been trying to find alternatives to Russian gas since March. Gazprom flexing its muscles like that is a reaction to Germany being able to fill its gas storages for the coming winter at a much higher rate than anticipated, particularly in recent weeks, in spite of NS1 already being throttled to just 40%, and later even 20%.

Here's a chart of the filling level of Germany's gas storages, compared with previous years and also with the goals set out by the government:

As you can see, we've almost reached the 85% goal which was slated for October at the beginning of September, one month ahead of schedule. Russia cutting off the tiny remaining gas shipments is a last-ditch effort to cause the markets or the populace to panic.

This and planned "Preisdeckel" by von der Laien (pun intended).

Update on Saparodjia inspection:
1. Russians showed them everything they wanted without exception.
2. Chief inspector Grossi said damage already done was unacceptable for a nuclear plant.
3. Safe operation is still possible due to sufficient electricity being available.
4. They plan to permanently station two of their people to which Russia agreed.
5. There is reasonable cooperation between Russian army and the Ukrainians working on the plant.

Today, Ukraine blamed Russia for clearing the plant of heavy weapons before inspectors had arrived.
Wasn't it what they wanted or asked for? What is their problem?
Then a strike near the plant was confirmed to be of Ukrainian origin today..

It's clear by now who was shelling the plant.

What I don't get is what the Ukrainians want to accomplish there. The power plant lies on the south bank of the Dnipro river, they couldn't hold it even if they succeeded at taking it with a commando operation.
Imho, it's already fairly obvious how the next few months play out militarily:

Ukraine will take back Kherson city and all the other territory on the north-western side of the Dnipro, but will not be able to take back the stripe from Crimea through Melitopol to the Donbass before the onset of winter. Russia, on the other hand, will not have the capacity to make further relevant gains in Donbass. With the Dnipro river acting as a natural barrier in the south, and with both sides being entrenched in heavily fortified positions in the east, the war will grind to a complete standstill. As economic damage mounts on both sides, so will the pressure to find a diplomatic solution.
